RER completes purchase of the County Hall site
RER Kingston Ltd has now acquired the former County Hall building on Penrhyn Road, Kingston following the completion of the disposal of the freehold by Surrey County Council on 26 March 2021.
RER will be commencing stakeholder engagement and local consultation in the coming months as we start to develop proposals for the future use of the site. The Bittoms car park site is not included in the acquisition made by RER and Surrey County Council remain the freehold owner of the car park site.
